This is a Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) Program focusing on students and it is part of William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan (Direct Loan) program. With Direct Loan program, the loan is passed from the federal bank directly to the needy while FFEL usually come from the bank, lenders or from the credit union.
PLUS loans
This is a loan for parents and its aim is to empower dependent under graduate students who are taking up eligible program at a credited medical school. PLUS loans are received from the Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) Program together with William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan (Direct Loan) Program.
